Procedure For How To Apply For Passport

Step 1. First you have to go to website of Passport Seva Online Portal and have to Register on it. (You have to click on "Register Now" link on the website Home Page.

 Step 2.  Then you have to Login on the Passport Seva Online Portal with your registered Login Id and passport.

 Step 3.  Click on the link of "Apply for Fresh Passport/Re-issue of Passport" after login.

 Step 4. Fill all the required details in the given form and then you have to submit.




 Step 5. After submit you have to click on the "Pay and Schedule Appointment" given link on the "View Saved/Submitted Applications" screen to schedule for an appointment.

 One thing you should have to know that online Payment has been made mandatory for booking new appointments in the all Passport Seva Kendras or Passport Offices.
You can be made Online Payment using any one of the following ways:

 1st   By using Credit or Debit Card (MasterCard and Visa).

 2nd  By using Internet Banking (like State Bank of India (SBI) and Associate Banks and Other Banks also).

 3rd   By using your SBI Bank Challan.

 Step 6. And then you have to click on the "Print Application Receipt" link for the print of the receipt  application that containing Application Reference Number (ARN) or an Appointment Number.

 Step 7. After complite above given step then you have to Visit the nearest Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) or your Regional Passport Office (RPO) where appointment has been booked. You should have visite your Passport Office along with your original documents.

Note:
In case of emergency or medical cases and the preapproved categories may visit to their Passport Seva Kendra without any appointment. The service will be provided at the discretion of the Passport Seva Kendra in-charge or the Passport Officer.
In case of minor applicants means below 4 years of age you should have to carry the recent passport size photograph of 4.5 X 3.5 cm with the white background.

 Resubmission of the your application form is required or needed in such case when the applicant does not visit to the Passport Seva Kendra within 90 days from the online submission of form.
