GST का सफर (2006-2017) बजट (2006-2007) 1 अप्रैल को GST लागु होने की घोषणा हुई वित्त मंत्री के अधिकार प्राप्त समिति को खाका तैयार करने का जिम्मा दिया गया अप्रैल 2008 पश्चिम बंगाल के वित्त मंत्री असीम दासगुप्ता की अध्यछता में समिति ने केंद्र सरकार को रिपोर्ट सौंपी तथा इसके बाद सयुक्त समूह की नियुक्ति की गयी और विभिन्न सेवाओं और उत्पादों में कर को लेकर विश्लसन किया गया नवम्बर 2009 इस वर्ष समिति ने मशविरा पत्र जारी किया मार्च 2011 लोक सभा में GST  बिल को पेश किया गया था तथा वित्त पर बनाई गई स्थाई संसदीय समिति को भेजा गया और इसके दो वर्ष बाद समिति ने अगस्त 2013 में रिपोर्ट पेश की वर्ष  2014 सरकार बदलने से बिल रुक गया दिसम्बर 2014 GST को एक बार फिर लोक सभा में पेश किया गया मई 2015 लोक सभा में पारित हुआ तथा राज्य सभा की 21 सदस्यीय समिति को भेजा गया जुलाई 2015 समिति ने रिपोर्ट पेश की तथा मानसून सत्र और शीतकालीन सत्र में सदन ने काफी चर्चा हुआ वर्ष 2016 बजट सत्र में भी सदन में काफी चर्चा हुई जून 2017 संविधान के 122वे संस...
